A very quiet and secluded park with terrific views of Lake Windermere. Mr W, crewe 07 July 2009
A very pleasant park with excellent accommodation and a good base for exploring the Southern Lake District and for those wanting
to climb Coniston Old Man and other peaks in the South Lakes. Lovely views, peace and quiet and recommended for a family break. Mr M, CAERNARFON 26 June 2009
We all had a brilliant time in the lodge and there was plenty of helpful suggestions for attractions that we could do or visit, such as Grizedale Forest. Lake Windemere was just a short walk down some steps which was beautiful at any time of the day, even during the rain, as it rained quite heavily on a couple of the days we were staying, however this did not bother us in any way. We had a a great time, a good laugh and would like very much do it again, so I would recommend it to others to have the same experience we did. Miss G, BLACKPOOL 18 June 2009

In my opinion the position of this park is excellent for the person who likes to spend a nice quiet holiday in very picturesque surroundings. We took my physically handicapped brother and the park was excellent, on the level and the staff were excellent and very helpful. Mrs H, Prestatyn, Denbighshire 16 June 2007
